INTIMACY

Diptych December 2018. With two artists, over one week, one in Paris and one in London, each for three days, where we shared time and space together. Together, we created a temporary reflection of our encounter and the way we structure our own intimacy.

In Paris I collaborated with the artist Chen Cohen. Intimacy is expressed at the point of meeting. When one body pushes against the other, it casts and defines the space which we are, and which we are in. It holds the pain that accompanies the intimate point.

In London I collaborated with the artist Jasper Llewellyn. The gaze into each other’s eyes becomes a solid life line, between a body under the shock of icy water in late December, about to freeze, and a hanged body restrained to move, about to fall.
